Beauty trends are never original, if you’ve watched Wayne Goss’ youtube channel then you know this to be true. But they are exciting and fun to play with all the same. Something that’s emerged this week on the LFW catwalk is the blue eye and it’s just as striking as it was when your grandmother sported it to the club in the 80s. Whether tight lined in electric blue at Jonathan Saunders or smoked out in a pastel hue for Roksanda, it was a perfect contrast to the otherwise makeup free faces.
There’s been one thing on everyone’s bods this summer and it is for sure the 90s revived co-ord. Whether its a crop top and trouser, skirt or short everyones been wearing the matching two pieces like there’s no damn tomorrow. And this one is a real beauty.
It’s from Luxemme.com and I really can’t express how obsessed I am with the caramel suede. Luxemme design affordable, luxury clothing, mixing modern trends with classic Parisienne styling so even the more dramatic pieces are still really wearable. What more could a girl ask for? They also have some seriously amazing dresses and jumpsuits (as well as the co-ords) all of which come in beautiful fabrics and colour ways and are definitely worth a browse. Delivery was also super quick and beautifully packaged to, which I love.I decided to pair this summery look with my super hipster hat and cardi as I think it’s more relevant to the weather right now. Transitional dressing is awkward at best but it’s definitely better to play around with whats in your wardrobe than shop for these in-between months.
