I picked up this fringe skirt in the Zara sale after Christmas but it’s only just got warm enough for me to wear it. It was crazy cheap, maybe like £12 or something?? And I love it. I like pairing dramatic pieces with really understated stuff, like a classic jumper or a plain tee. As much as an over the top look is amazing, for the day to day it’s nice to get use out of the more unusual pieces in your wardrobe. Style Rarebit In terms of hair and makeup, I keep doing this big cat eye recently. I love vintage inspired makeup looks, especially from the 40s and 50s and they’re one of the easiest to emulate. It’s unusual for me to have time to do much to my hair also, so this messy bun has been well perfected recently too (monkey with hands over eyes emoji right here). I imagine if disney princesses were real this is where they would get their shoes from. So gorgeous!

StyleRarebit.comI was so excited when Rainbow asked me if I wanted to pick a colour and shoe style to have made and they sent me an amazing list of options. You can literally have any colour imaginable! I chose this dusky purple shade and I love how it turned out, so impressed with the colour match to the pantone sample. They are  beautifully made too and really comfy, I guess that comes from years of making shoes for brides. They are also one of my most liked pictures on Instagram! So many people asked me where I got them.

StyleRarebit.comThe shoe clips are an added extra but really make it. They have a few different shapes and styles but these little bows look so expensive and work the best with a pointed toe style. They are also beautifully made, which is an odd thing to say about shoe clips! But they really are. I like that I can use them on other shoes too, or to accessorize a bag. If you want a better look at what’s available they have a demo page where you can play choosing different styles and colour options. Or have a look on Pinterest for some more inspiration.
